In Sydney from April 26 to 30 Mercedes Australian Fashion Week takes place, where you will see the spring/summer collections of such fashion designers as Fleur Wood, Josh Goot, Kirrily Johnston, Lover and Zimmermann among many others.

I guess that not many of our readers will be able to attend the event, but this year you’ll still have a chance to follow the news and to watch the show with your own eyes. IMG Media promises a full coverage of Mercedes Australia Fashion Week in Sydney from April 26 to 30 exclusively via MSN video.

IMG Media, owner of Fashionweekdaily.com, The Daily, and the new Daily MINI, has recently started their global broadband live transmission of various fashion weeks from all parts of the world.

Their first project was their live coverage of Olympus Fashion Week in New York this past February.

Their next step was a live broadcast of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles.

Now IMG is very excited about the future event in Sydney that will transmit their initiative out of the country onto the international level. Besides, their broadcasting will bring international fashion weeks and international designers and their collections to the global platform.

In their previous programs, which were available to MSN’s 440 million users worldwide, they highlighted runway shows, fashion and lifestyle features as well as the most exciting parts of each designer’s show. The IMG Media-produced coverage from Sydney will be available on MSN Video on demand in the US, Japan, Canada, the UK and Australia, as will as to Motorola users in Australia. Besides, more other new media and mobile partners will soon be announced.

Although, Mercedes Australia Fashion Week is the first designer fashion event of this kind taken place in the Asia Pacific region, Sydney is popular place for various catwalk shows. Only a few days ago (April 18) Sydney hosted the Michael Azzollini swimwear fashion show, in which the hottest Australian models, including Michelle Leslei took part.
