Cacique Lingerie Will be Sold in Its Own Shops
Lane Bryant has opened the first batch of what is expected to be as many as 60 stores this year that will be coupled with space for the retailer’s new Cacique lingerie chain for plus-sized consumers.
Lane Bryant has opened seven of the side-by-side stores in Florida, Texas, Kentucky, California, Tennessee and Nevada… It plans to open about 50 more this year.
Lane Bryant, which is owned by Bensalem, Pa.-based Charming Shoppes Inc., earlier said it would also open 75 to 80 Lane Bryant Outlet stores, 15 Fashion Bug shops and five Catherines Plus Sizes stores this year. The company’s Lane Bryant stores have been selling Cacique-brand lingerie, but this is the first time the line will be merchandised in its own shops.
Charming Shoppes has 2,236 stores in 48 states, including 700 under the Lane Bryant nameplate. Big amount, isn`t it?
