The long awaited fashion show has finally taken place in New York. The show was held on the 11th of November, and without any exaggeration it is the breathtaking and spectacular event of the recent times.

It was something you had to see. Lots of luxurious clothing with lingerie highlighted beautifully accompanied with fabulous wings, baubles, feathers, ribbons, and flowers astonished everyone who had a chance to see the show live.

Plenty of gorgeous models, including Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima (who opened the show), Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman and others appeared on the catwalk showing off daring but so attractive designs and accessories.

Adriana Lima opened the show 12 months after giving birth to daughter Valentina. The supermodel gained 50 pounds during her pregnancy. But she looked wonderful on the catwalk.

Katy Perry led the dance party that doubled as the finale of Wednesday night’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show, an annual parade of skimpy, sexy and over-the-top lingerie.

In a yellow, strapless bustier dress covered in pink hearts and teamed up with the thigh-high boots that were a trend among the catwalkers, Katy Perry fit right in with the likes of models Adriana Lima, Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova.

Perry sang a medley of her own songs, including “Teenage Dream,” “Hot N Cold” and “California Gurls,” but it was Blondie’s “Call Me” booming through the speakers that got the three dozen models bouncing around the stage.

Many famous people were noticed in the audience, Carine Roitfeld, Giovanna Battaglia, Alexander Wang, Zac Posen, Kate Lanphear, Julia Restoin Roitfeld were among them.

I would also like to mention the names of the models who appeared in the show for the first time: Lais Ribeiro, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Lily Donaldson, and Heloise Guerin were among those. The new girls replaced Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr who are pregnant now.
