Sports Bra. How It Works?

No need to say that when it comes to exercise, some body parts are better left sedentary. Bouncing breasts can be embarrassing and uncomfortable, and for 56 percent of female exercisers, they can be downright painful, according to a Utah State University study of 59 women exercisers.

All that up-and-down motion–no matter what size you are–may also lead to saggy boobs down the road. Sports bras are specially designed to control movement during all types of activity–even the US Army is buying them for its female soldiers.

The feminine version of the athletic supporter has come a long way since the first one was constructed, ironically, from two jockstraps in 1977. But today some are so heavy on fashion–spaghetti straps and padded inserts for extra cleavage-that they’ve gone too light on support. “You want a sports bra that holds those little girls as close as possible to your chest,” says Audrey Kirkland, senior manager of bra design at Moving Comfort, a manufacturer of women’s athletic clothes.

Besides controlling bounce, sports bras should offer more comfort-no pinching, no rubbing-and keep you drier than regular bras when you sweat. Most are made with spandex (to stretch and move with you) and polyester, nylon, or a blend of both to keep you cooler and drier than cotton would.

Swimming Rules

swimming poolSummer! And that means that after a hard working year, we can relax at last and have fun on the beach. But what if you can’t escape from the hustle and bustle of the city even in summer and have to spend most of the time in a stuffy office?

Anyway, it is not the reason for depriving yourself of swimming. It is a swimming season, after all! So, let’s try to spend as much time in the water as possible. Swimming is one of the most popular activities today, it’s good for your health and muscles, besides it is great fun.

And even if you stay in the city for this summer you can do swimming from time to time. First, you can leave the city at the weekends and have a good time on the nearest beach, or even easier – you can go to the local swimming pool.

But in this case you should take some precautions, because sometimes it can be dangerous. Although it has been taken some measures to improve the quality of water, still in the last years the number of outbreaks of illness associated with swimming has increased.

We should remember that swimming will not cause us any problems if we behave themselves properly in the water. The risk of catching a illness will decrease if we will follow some general rules that are known to everyone.

First, practice good hygiene – do not forget to take a show and wash your body before and after swimming.

Then, do not swallow the water and avoid getting water in your mouth.

And surely if you have any kind of catching illness, avoid swimming in public places, because you can spread germs and make other people sick.
