Plus Size Bra Ads Are Banned on TV
Friday, April 30th, 2010Would you surprise if you see on the screen a woman who wears only a bikini set. I suppose you would not. I do not mean that it is ok, but rather that we all are got used to it. Singers, models and actresses with voluptuous shapes appear on the screen, on magazine covers, in ads, in other words, everywhere.

However, recently a plus size bra advertisement has been banned on TV. The advertisement is made by a world renowned lingerie brand Lane Bryant. The reason for such a step was that underwear presented by the brand is too trashy for prime time broadcasting. By the way, in the ad stares Ashley Graham.

Last week during the break in Dancing with the Stars the ad was to be shown but ABC channel decided not to air the ad. According to representatives of the channel, the advert features too excessive cleavage.
But representatives of Lane Bryant have another opinion. According to their point of view, this ban is nothing more than a discrimination of plus size models. Who knows, skinny bodies are in fashion now, so they might be afraid of a plus size trend to come. They added that the ad is sexy but not raunchy and blamed the networks to reject a point of view of women’s beauty that opposes to theirs. But what is more curious is that ABC refused to comment the situation. No doubt, there is something truthful in these words.

Anyway, lots of women follow the trends of Lane Bryant, and the ad is not of large importance for them, what really matters is that plus size bras designed by the brand are the best option for the majority of women.
