Sexy lingerie: new Milavitsa lingerie collection

Thursday, March 16th, 2006

I have great news!  Milavitsa congratulates dear women on the first spring days and presents the new collection of delicate and airy lingerie!

The new Milavitsa collection offers the refined designs and delicate materials. The sensual and lavish undergarments are created according to the latest trends of the season and includes things both for tiny ladies and for their voluptuous counterparts.

The sets of the line are of different colors with white and sizzling radiant hues (red and blue) dominating. What unites all the new items is that they all are extremely dainty and airy. The abundance of lace keeps them feminine and seductive.

This is my favorite bra and panty set of the new collection. Delicate lace makes the girl look so fragile.

Embroidery is the hottest trend of the season as well as the radiant colors.

Breast augmentation: be aware of the risk

Sunday, March 12th, 2006

Pamela Anderson

Today millions of young and physically attractive women go under the knife to reach the artificially created standards of beauty. What is even worse is that many of them have no idea of possible consequences of such augmentations. Very often they get aware of them too late, when they face devastating results themselves.

The most commonly performed cosmetic surgical procedures on women in the United States are breast and buttock augmentations. In 2002, 236,888 women enlarged their bust. Every year this number is increasing, and I dare not even think how many young girls will do it in 2006.

Some women undergo cosmetic surgeries to balance body proportions, or to make lingerie fit better. Others see the augmentation as the only way to improve their sexual life, or increase their self-esteem. As I see it, that will hardly help one’s relationship, but it may definitely worsen one’s health. So I would think twice before putting myself under the knife.

Speaking about breast and buttock augmentation, there are at least several concerns: the surgery itself, the implants and “cosmetic surgery addiction”. Read below about the most common possible complications, and it is up to you to take a risk or not.

  1. Surgery: the risk may include (but not limited to) infection, hematoma, excessive bleeding and the risk of anesthesia. Besides, any patient would hardly avoid a foreign body reaction to the implant (its degree depends on each individual).
  2. Capsulare contracture, 7 years after surgeryImplants: the risk may include implant rupture (deflation or leakage), capsular contracture (on the picture - capsular contracture, 7 years after the surgery), changes in nipple or breast sensation, rippling, shifting of the implant, asymmetrical look, immune system disorder. If a saline implant ruptures, it will go flat, if silicone – the breast will have a distortion or an irregular contour. In addition, the implant may complicate mammogram readings and breast feed. Read more about implants last at  www.plastic.org/info/HowLongDoSalineImplantsLast.html

  3. “Cosmetic surgery addiction”: the risk may also include the need for more surgery procedures because of body dysmorphic disorder, or implant rupture. It may lead to irreversible damage to the normal body structure. Besides, each procedure may prove too costly.
  4. Read more about possible complications at http://www.ienhance.com/procedure/description.asp?ProcID=27&BodyID=2&specialtyID=1#13 and http://www.psinfocenter.com/breast_augmentation.php.

Although plastic surgeons insist that these are rare case, they occur much more often than you imagine, and even bigwigs of show business face a number of problems. Need proofs – visit http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/archives/006943.html.

Academy Awards: Hollywood fashion

Thursday, March 9th, 2006

Reese Witherspoon at the Oscars 2006Hollywood has always been extremely fashion conscious, but in recent years it has grown into obsession. World known celebrities are making great fuss of what to put on, while strict fashionistas critically examine the ensembles of Hollywood stars.

The Oscars today is a sort of fashion show with world-known actors modeling. The main events of Hollywood not only bring stunning funds to fashion designers, but affect consume fashion as well imposing their swanky trends on common public.

This year severe fashion experts didn’t lose an opportunity to criticize our idols and their posh outfits. Some of Hollywood stars were lucky to get approving notes, while others were ridiculed cruelly.

Reese Witherspoon, apart from being the Best Actress winner, is the Oscars Best Dressed actress, according to an authoritative opinion of Luxist.com, an expert on all pretentious things.  She won the Academy Award for the Best Actress for the role of June Carter in Walk the Line, and was named first in the list of the Best Dressed of Luxist.com for her elegant vintage 1955 Dior accompanied by Manolo Blahnik heels.

Another favorite of Luxist.com was Ziyi Zhang and her dazzling costume (Armani bustier and Swarovski crystal-covered skirt). I liked her ensemble most – sparkling, but elegant and refined at the same time.

Luxist.com also includes in the list Jessica Alba (in Versace gown) and Jennifer Garner (in Michael Kors gown), who chose a golden color, which seems very popular this season (see Hussein Chalayan, Sophia Kokosalaki and Dries van Noten in last week Paris shows).

The Worst Dressed list includes Jennifer Lopez and her vintage gown from Rita Watnick in a yellow shade of olive and Michel Williams in her awfully yellow Vera Wang gown. Both the color and the cut choice were wrong, they could certainly have looked better.

Red carpet style reigned at the Oscars this year. Keira Knightley, Uma Thurman, Jennifer Aniston, Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron were wearing gorgeous gowns accompanied with expensive jewelry. Although some of them got a little criticism, their chic elegance reminded of the early days of Hollywood glamour and class.
