Soft, Feminine and Whimsical – that’s how Catherine Wang describes Luvelle Lingerie, that she launched along with friends Daphne Chi and San Carlos a year ago.
Most women, who went through pregnancy, know how difficult it can be to find a bra that fits perfectly(that’s the problem, that attracts attention of health professionals as well). Catherine Wang face the same difficulty, that’s how she came to the idea to start her own lingerie line.
Wang was looking for cute, feminine and at the same time comfortable lingerie at an affordable price, and when failed to find anything suitable, she designed her own collection.
At the beginning, they designed mostly bras, but today the line is being expanded by more sleepwear and camisoles. The lingerie comes in a vast array of colors (some are common for the whole year, others are available depending on the season).
Wang promises that their lingerie is something that you want to wear all the time. It’s fun, flirty line of bras and underwear that provides perfect fit and reliable support. The prices for Luvelle garments are about $30 - $40 per set.
The name Luvelle comes from the English word ‘love’ and the French ‘elle’ (translated into English as ‘she’). The company is looking for way of expanding. It joins several other business ventures geared toward a female clientele such as Massage Envy (a nationwide franchise of massage therapists, opened on South El Camino this year) and Lula Lu (a lingerie boutique catering to women’s dress sizes zero to eight, opened last year).
