I have noticed that I rarely write about different lingerie brands. So, accept my excuse, today I will tell you about Ultimo lingerie. The history of the brand began with Michelle Mone’s idea to design something new. Michelle started her career as a model, but after having a second child she resulted redundant in the industry. When she attended a party with her husband, she got annoyed with uncomfortable underwear she was wearing. It was actually then that she came up with the idea of designing her own lingerie that would be comfortable, beautiful, alluring.

Michelle set up the business as early as 1996. After a hard but fruitful work she patented the first Ultimo bra. Since then the company’s name is known to every fashion lover all over the world. Ultimo is considered the most known UK lingerie brand. When designing a bra, Michelle pays much attention to cleavage between cups. This detail, according to the designer, makes bra look natural, comfy and elegant.

Ultimo lingerie is so popular due to its simplicity. However, Ultimo does not offer plain designs and shapes. Not at all. Sometimes the shapes are really sophisticated, but simplicity is revealed in how you feel in this underwear. Two main lingerie collections of the brand are the Ultimo Miracle Collection and the Ultimo Fashion Collection. Both of them include pieces that support and enhance your appearance. So, you can wear tight-fitting clothing with confidence that you look awesome. Besides, it goes without saying that each piece is of the first rate quality.

Since the year 2008 Mel B a former Scary Spice became a face of the Ultimo brand. She represents style and sexiness of Ultimo intimate apparel.

We always pay attention to beautiful bras, corsets and completely forget about such an important detail of lingerie set as panties. Panties are by right considered the basic element of underwear because nobody as a rule does without them (I will not talk about craziness of some celebrities that love to show off their nakedness).

There are some established rules for designers who create panties. First of all, a waistband is normally made of elastic material for additional comfort. There is also a cotton cloth that covers the genitals. It should not be necessarily cotton but any other absorbent fiber. And the leg openings as a rule are made of elastic fibers as well. Thanks to it their can stretch.
Just for additional information, there are several types of panties.
• The first one is called briefs. They have full rear coverage and rise to the navel or a bit below it. Briefs in turn can also be divided into subgroups. There are full briefs, known also as classic, where the leg openings go below the hip. Another subgroup is French cut, or just high cut briefs that have the same coverage but they are a bit narrower. Control briefs are designed specially for providing additional support that can give a slimmer figure. And, finally, boyleg briefs, or boyshorts. It is the most popular type of panties for sporty girls.

• The second type of panties is hipsters. It looks very similar to briefs, but they rise lower than a waist.
• Then bikinis go. These panties are worn at hips, the leg openings are narrower, and a waistband rise even lower than in hipsters.
• Tangas, known also as string bikinis. Its waistband is a narrow strip at both sides, but the coverage is still full though not as much as in briefs.
• Thongs have a narrow strip as a waistband and at the rare part instead of full coverage.
• And, finally, G-string that actually has no rare part, just a strip goes from a crotch to the waistband.

This spring Marlies Dekkers presented her new lingerie line, to be exact two lingerie collections called Early Jet Set and Gloria. We have recently mentioned the designer talking about Chic & Stylish Marlies Dekkers Lingerie. Marlies Dekkers has been in the limelight of the whole fashion world for several years. Since 1991 when she shocked the audience with her bare buttock dress, her name always sounds in the fashion industry. And not without reason. Her inspiration to create unique lingerie that will make women feel desirable and seductive yet powerful and rebellious.

Creating a new lingerie collection Marlies Dekkers wanted something flamboyant and independent. As a result of this idea women can now enjoy elegant and exquisite undergarments with leopard print or gold rings and studs. Here I have some pictures of a new Gloria collection. Above you can see lingerie sets with brutal braces that somehow look very elegant and feminine just like a lace detail. The designer decided to create very plain bra and panties. Such pieces are easy and comfortable to use daily under any clothing. However, simple details and smooth fabrics look plain only from the front. From behind the whole image is completely different. Unusual shapes of bra straps featuring rings, minimalist details and shapes – all of that creates an intimate atmosphere.

Check out also some lingerie models from the Early Jet Set Collection. It has much in common with the previous image. I would only like to draw your attention to the bra in the picture. It has unusual detailing on the front. The cups are beautifully trimmed on the top, extravagant straps make a set something new that is worth showing and not hiding under clothing.
And the last picture for today where you can see both bra sets and corset sets. Each set comprises of a seductive thongs and an extravagant top. Strict lines, smooth fabrics and black theme have become characteristic of the new collections of Marlies Dekkers.
