Exotic women lingerie has a more sexual design: just like lingerie sets bikini it has more open spaces and an interesting fashion. In most cases such lingerie is destined neither for daily casual wear nor for shaping the body. It serves for aesthetic reasons and tends to be the best lingerie choice for honeymoons.
Whatever your height, weight or skin complexion is – it is always possible to find rare exotic lingerie that will satisfy your taste. The only difficulty is to find the right one for your case and to use it right.
First of all you should decide on the color. If exotic colors aren’t what you like that you can always stick to traditional black, white or red. Even the most exotic lingerie can be found in such colors. More over these colors are suitable for frequent wear. What concerns material of your lingerie –you can choose almost anything for exotic type: laces, silk, velvet or leather.

The most important thing about choosing exotic lingerie is that it should underline advantages of your body and mask its disadvantages. For example, if you have big hips, then you should avoid picking out narrow-fitting lingerie; you’d better choose lingerie that has a straight silhouette. You can also skip accents on your waist and hips by choosing a bustier or a corset. Never choose lingerie that underlines your belly area if you have a protruding belly. Accentuate your hips, legs or breasts instead.
If you are of a short height – choose the lingerie that would create and impression that you are higher that you are. Avoid choosing long items pick a dress with side slits instead. You can also try baby doll dresses – they are very sexy and help to hide a lot of disadvantages.
If you are tall, then you can wear lingerie with a belt, but you can also make your height work on you by choosing short baby doll dresses or a peignoir – they’ll show your legs at their best.

In less than a month bikini will be celebrating its 63rd birthday. On July 5, 1946 it was presented to public on the demonstration of a new summer collection from Christian Dior. Dancers from Moulin Rouge were invited to demonstrate bikini because none of the models agreed to step onto the podium in such an undisguised outfit. There are rumors that Micheline Bernardini, who demonstrated bikini, received over 50,000 proposals afterwards.
Bikini’s arrival was like an explosion of a nuclear bomb (it actually was named after Bikini atoll where the USA tried the first nuclear bomb four days earlier). Catholic Church in Spain, Portugal and Italy prohibited wearing bikini in public. In America certain social organizations objected to Hollywood using bikini in the movies. Nevertheless bikini gained its popularity with time: after the WWII it became a sign of freedom for many women and Hollywood also did its bit.
- The increased sales impact of bikini happened in 1957 when the movie ‘So Woman Was Created’ came on the screens of the cinemas with Brigitte Bardot in bikini set.
- In 1960 America was singing the ‘Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini’ song that was leading the song charts for a long time
- In 1962 James Bond’s girlfriend stepped out of the water wearing white bikini – and this scene was named the sexiest scene in the history of the cinema.
- In 1964 the first issue of ‘Sports Illustrated’ magazine with a girl wearing bikini on its cover was printed.
- In 1966 the movie ‘A Million Years B.C.’ came out, where Rachel Welsh was starring in bikini made of animal skin.
Since that time nothing could stop the spreading popularity of bikini and today we enjoy a great variety of models, colors and material for bikini. Bikini is used not for going to the beach only; it is an item of lingerie also. From simple delicate designs to exotic banana skin models or bikinis made of bubble wrap – anything that your imagination can tell you.

| Times change but the heroines of 1950s movies will remain ideal for women and men of our generation. But if you think that those women were luckier and had perfect bodies then you’re mistaken. Their secret was in their lingerie that made them look flawless.
Today 1950s are coming back with retro lingerie, though the new models slightly differ from their prototypes – they are much more comfortable. Farewell to the unisex style with its synthetic materials, tight strings and squeezing bras! Long live the laced and delicate cotton lingerie that makes every woman beautiful and feminine!
Panties with high waistline, balconette bras, corsets and sheer lacy slips are popular again! Though in 1950s beauty was considered to be more important that comfort, modern women can enjoy both. If you’re a great fan of retro style, then lacy combinations with drawers is your perfect choice. But if you want just to try this style – you can choose less radical lingerie with printed little flowers, laces and the ‘pin-up’ form. |

Retro lingerie has been in style for quite a period of time, but this year it has its most popular and special color - black. Blue is also popular in its bright shades – turquoise, purple and indigo. Red color never gets out of style: choose coral red lingerie this year and you won’t regret it. What considers animal prints – choose zebra. Other variants are outdated and unpopular.
We all know that classic models of lingerie will always remain in demand, but sometimes a woman should let herself to relax and feel just like a 1950s movie star. |
