Some tips on how to measure bra sizeWhat you should remember choosing your lingerie

Not only does every woman feel craving for looking beautiful but also she desires to enjoy some comfort while wearing her lingerie. So you should never be in a hurry choosing your future bra. You shouldn’t grab lingerie off the sales rack (no matter how cheap it is) without even trying it on. Otherwise, you will discover later on that your lingerie doesn’t feel right, or doesn’t look very good under clothing. Remember that your lingerie apart from being beautiful should be well-constructed because it supports and enhances the body; it is something you are wearing next to your skin. Almost your second skin! Is it worth buying if this “second skin” is not comfortable at all?

Need the right size?

The hardest part while choosing your lingerie is to get something that will fit you well. The models vary in fabric, style and size so it’s up to you to decide what to buy. I just want to give you some tips how to choose your right size as it is the first step to your comfort and beauty. There are a lot of factors that can affect your bust measurements, for example, pregnancy, exercise, birth control pills or weight fluctuations. The average woman wears six different bra sizes throughout her life. Accordingly, you should know how to measurer bra size.

Some tips on how to measure bra size

First of all, you should measure for band size. Keeping the measuring tape parallel with the ground, measure around your bra directly under your bust after expelling all air from your lungs (this measurement should be as small as possible). Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number. If the measurement is even, add 4″, if the measurement is odd, add 5″.

Secondly, you are to measure for cup size. Standing straight, with your arms at your side, measure at the fullest part of your bust (while wearing a non-padded bra) making sure the measuring tape is parallel with the ground and not binding. Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number.

And finally, you are to calculate your bra size. Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement. Generally, for each inch in difference, the cup goes up by one size.

An example for you

Just to settle an example.

1) 34″ under measurement +4″ = 38″ band

2) 40″ over measurement

3) 40″ - 38″ = 2″ or Cup “B”

Your size would be 38B

You also should remember that this measuring system tends to become less accurate when the cup sizes go above a D. That is why some manufacturers name larger cup sizes differently. Have a right choice!

Where To Find Plus Size Black Lingerie

April 27th, 2008

Large Size Lingerie

Janet Reger.jpgIt’s one of the most delicate problems and one of the most up-to-date agenda at the same time for such kind of lingerie is under great demand. Today any company tries to enlarge its size stock as much as possible.

Large size lingerie requires special fiber and accessories, properly accounted and balanced constructions, which are due to support any load without hurting woman’s shoulders. There is a new kind of difficulty to find bras for big breasts with small girth under breasts. More interest attracts panache production – its cup changes from size to size according to fullness, which gives itself a more precise fitting.

The other day specialists began to talk about lingerie creation for very-very big ones for example 140 kl. It’s high time probably to imply a new notion – super-large sizes. There are enough such women still we can’t see the very often for they are a bit afraid of going out even to do shopping.  This consumers segment is rather wealthy because they mostly have a high education and prefer to satisfy their need in clothes through the internet.

Felina Lingerie collection

This company was established in 1885 in Germany and is one of the old-timers in the field. Today this brand is wildly known all over the world.

Felina is one of the greatest lingerie and swimming-suits producer. The peculiarity of the company’s activity is plus size black lingerie production – fashionable, smart and comfortable at the same time, which makes women feel relaxed and free. Some bras articles meet even the size H. the targeted client of feline is women with either standard or special figures. The main aim is functionality, comfort to any size. Tight pants and bodies produce the effect of figure correction.

To make lingerie company uses special materials combinations: light and elastic they do not stretch and are cleaning-proof.  In the majority of models put out by Felina cotton combined with special elastic fiber are used, and it’s done so that only cotton will touch the body. Moisture and air penetrate micro-fiber properly which make the combination of these materials very effective.

The Tendency to Make Lingerie Look More Sexual

Experts admit that this tendency has touched even non-typical kinds of lingerie – plus size black lingerie, night lingerie and bras for big breasts. This trend seems to be rather disputable however for the notion of sexuality tends to vary from country to country and something considered to be erotic in the USA for example will come as a mere pornography in France.

Satin lingerie models: how to care for them?

April 25th, 2008

Satin lingerie models: how to care for them?Looking after your ligerie
Your lingerie should be looked after with great love and delicacy because if you take good care of your lingerie, it will take great care of you in return! Here I will talk about caring for your underwear and especially for satin lingerie models (as we all know satin is rather delicate fabric and needs special care).

Caring for satin lingerie models

How to wash satin lingerie models depends on what the satin is made of. Satin is a cloth that typically has a glossy smooth surface and a dull back. It can be made of a few types of fibers, the most common of which are silk and polyester. If your lingerie is polyester, you can wash it by your machine. If it is silk, then you’d better having it dry cleaned, though some types of silk are washable, but you’d better be on the safe side and know for sure that your lingerie won’t be spoiled. However, before washing you should always consult the care instructions on the garment. If you have lost instructions and now don’t know for sure what your satin lingerie models are made of, you can take them to good cleaners and ask them what fiber is it.

Need special care

As you can see, if you have satin lingerie models, you should remember that this type of lingerie needs some special care. First of all you should wash your lingerie immediately after wearing. Your lingerie is very close to your body, so you should wash it as soon as possible in order to maintain the fabric. The fibers of the fabrics will last longer and your items will keep their shape, color and elasticity if you care for them as soon as possible. Also before washing you should prepare your items: fasten the hooks on the bras, remove anything from the garments that is not washable, for instance, buttons or clips (if they are removable).

Washing of satin lingerie models

If your satin lingerie models are suitable for washing, then you can use machine-washing. Still hand washing is more preferable. Then you will be able to preserve fabric completely. If the idea of actually using your hands while washing is horrible, wash in a washing machine at a delicate cycle. Do not use hot water to wash your lingerie. It is better to use lukewarm water (for both handwashing and machine wash gentle cycle). Use a lingerie bag or washing bag for your bra and lingerie, so it won’t get caught or pulled during the cycle.

After washing

After washing don’t rub or wring out your satin lingerie models. Otherwise, you will spoil them. Air dry your items, don’t use a dryer because it is too harsh and rough to delicate satin lingerie items. Hang dry or dry flat, on a clothes horse, coat hanger or special drying rack. If you follow these simple tips, you will prolong a life span of your satin lingerie models.
