Recently a very curious and funny fact was unveiled for the public. It turned out that an extravagant and chart topping singer Lady Gaga chose underwear by a famous retailers Rigby and Peller to shoot her new video clip. Rigby and Peller is famous for providing underwear for the Queen.

Among fans of the brand there are fashion designers, singers, actors such as Stella McCartney, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leona Lewis, Isabella Rossellini, Sophie Dahl and many many other renowned personalities. The brand was happy to cooperate with a famous pop star and sent the singer knickers from the latest collection. The only condition Rigby and Peller had was to return the company underwear.

However Lady Gaga seems not to keep her word or it looks like accidental matter? Four pairs of designer’s knickers were lost in transit. Due to that the latest collection of Rigby and Peller is in chaos. Only three sets were back in time for a catwalk show. Can you imagine what designers had to do so as to save the situation?

One of representatives of the brand mentioned that they were happy to know that a world known personality wanted to appear on the screen in their intimate apparel, however, they had to go through stress because they did not get back the knickers. The worst thing is that every piece is handmade and features unique design, that is why it is impossible to acquire them anywhere in the world, they are priceless.

In the result, Lady Gaga was loaned by Rigby and Pelles for the loss of sheer black lace bras and pants, black contouring high waisted knickers and skin colored basques. Even though the company considers its underwear priceless, its exclusivity was expressed in prices. Corsets can cost up to £ 180, knickers up to £ 90 and bras up to £ 110.

The world has turned upside down in recent decades, especially the world of fashion. Now the aim of every designer is not to follow healthy trends creating comfortable and elegant items, they want to shock with their extravagant decisions and bold experiments.

The latest lingerie trend is to use underwear as outwear. The idea might seem too incredible for traditional people. Personally I did not believe the trend to gain true popularity at first, it seemed too shocking for me, now the situation has changed dramatically.

And among the pioneers of the trend there are such renowned personalities as Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Momsen, Zoe Saldana and many other bold women with Lady Gaga as the indisputable leader of the trend. As a rule it is a celebrity who first appears in public in any unusual outfit, then women all over the world start to imitate the idea.

Underwear as outwear still remains a popular trend only among celebrities, while ordinary people like me and you have got used to the opposite idea –lingerie ought never to be visible. Meanwhile online polls reveal that the majority of women would agree to walk out in underwear pieces. I wonder if it is true.

Some critics say that the tendency means a serious decline in morality, while others think it to be evidence of the peak in consumption. In fact, there were times when luxurious lingerie was considered a sign of wealth. Now we can observe the same situation. Fashion designers who spend huge sums of money on underwear do not like to keep it invisible. In the result at this year’s fashion Week on the catwalk models marched in bodices, underskirts, suspenders and bras. Marc Jacobs layered a baby blue silky bra over a blushed dusty pink blouse. Botega Venetta presented an ivory-coloured boned corset paired with a gauzy cream cardigan.

The history of Cadolle lingerie goes back to the end of the 19th century. The point of departure was desire of Herminie to set up a business. Difficulties and hard work did not frighten her. As the majority of French fashion lingerie brands, Cadolle initially designed traditional corsets. Herminie began the career at one of the Exhibitions in Paris where she presented a new invention – a corset cut into two pieces. Then she invented the first bra, patented the idea and introduces the novelty in the world of fashion. In fact, the idea did not gain popularity at first, it resulted too revolutionary for that epoch. Only years later it took off and turned into a must have for every fashion lover.

Nowadays women come to Cadolle if they are not satisfied with the way their breasts look. Some of them want to change the shape, others to add seductive look, or to find a bra that give good support. But when they come to Cadolle they find all these traits in every item. Every bra designed by Cadolle is comfortable, supportive, sexy, first rate quality, seductive, sophisticated and so on and so forth. This list has no ending.

According to Cadolle herself, her aim was to prevent sagging that appears when the bust bounces, which happens due to poor supportive function of straps. What can be better than a blend of healthy trend with a perfect sense of style?

Now Cadolle designs a vast range of lingerie types. Sexy bra sets, exquisite bustiers, sophisticated corsets, stylish babydolls and many other unique items are presented by the French fashion brand.

Now fashion experts associate Cadolle with Houte Couture, which proves uniqueness and significance of the brand on the world scale. Their concept is “There are no two women the same…”
